Steph Curry Lives Through the Worst Sequence of his Career

Every once in a while, we're reminded that generational talent isn't always infallible.

Steph Curry is quite often the best player on the court, but there are occasions where the former two-time MVP plays like a wino

During the Warriors' visit to LA the other night to tussle with the still LeBron-less Lakers, Curry treated us mere mortals to his own rarely glimpsed mortality, or perhaps the rage of a vengeful god.

If there are any dynasty haters reading this, please try not to enjoy the following clip too much:

That is just brutal.

The score at the time of this metaphorical faceplant was 107-71 in favor of the Dubs, so this obviously had no tangible effect on the game.

But Curry's pride and dignity are another matter.

What really tied the sequence together was the desperation airball from distance that compounded the woefully misguided dunk attempt.

It's almost like Steph forgot how to play basketball for a few precious seconds.

One of the most accomplished shooters in the history of the sport experienced his own personal raindance, if only for a moment.

Actually, Curry had a pretty rough night in general, going 3-12 from the field, although he did drop 12 dimes.

Of course, it really didn't matter, as Klay Thompson went completely insane, shooting 17-20 -- including 10-11 from the land of plenty -- to finish with a robust 44 points.

Nicely done, sir.

We're pretty sure Curry will recover from this waking nightmare.

However, it's somehow comforting to know he's got a pinch of hack in him.
