Anthony Davis Inexplicably Questioned By a Dog During Post-Game Press Conference
The NBA COVID bubble has been a wild success thus far by any rational standard.
Somehow, we've almost reached the conference finals and managed to keep the bubble from filling with a highly contagious disease.
Of course, it's still a pretty weird scene, featuring any numbers of quirks unique to the situation.
For example, the use of Zoom and the like for conducting interviews and press conferences has become a necessary communication tool.
After the Lakers went up 3-1 on the Rockets in the Western Semis with a 110-100 spanking, Anthony Davis entered the realm of the virtual presser and may never quite be the same again.
As the Brow was being grilled with a mixture of in-person and remote questions, one reporter called in with an interesting approach:
“All I heard was ‘roof roof’" 😂🐶

A dog crashed AD’s postgame presser. pic.twitter.com/59kkpteLNO
That dog is likely not a credentialed journalist, yet was allowed to bark out a series of completely incoherent questions designed to confuse the LA big.
Fortunately, AD handled this rogue canine with grace and humor, perhaps as a result of his previous exotic pet ownership:
Anthony Davis' marmoset. Yes, AD has a pet marmoset & someone to carry it. Yes, that's a tiny diaper. #145milatwork pic.twitter.com/a7oEcc8zKf

It's unclear if the marmoset ever questioned Davis in a public forum, but it seemed fairly good natured.
Okay, that's actually a marmot, although they are notoriously difficult interviews.
Davis may want to keep his distance.
