Even Someone Named Willy Adames Can Hit the Ball over 450ft This Season
If chicks truly do dig the long ball, then they must be totally grooving on this MLB season.
Things have gotten completely out of hand, in terms of both volume and distance.
For example, in the 2019 version of MLB, a dude like Willy Adames can hit a baseball 462ft and not a soul bats an eye.
And in a lovely twist of irony, this ball actually hit the batters eye in Tampa.
Just look at this shit:
Come for the 🔥 threads, stay for the 462-foot homer. pic.twitter.com/4X8wUNIdlC— MLB (@MLB) September 22, 2019
It seems that everyone has access to the launch codes these days.
This stuff does turn some folks on.
Why, in this very same game, the Rays eventually walked off on the Red Sox with a homer in the 11th inning:

How the hell did that ball get out?
In fact, the final seven runs of that game were produced by five homers.
Because modern baseball.
