Novak Djokovic Politely Destroys and Discards Racquet During Match

The time-honored tradition of professional athletes blaming equipment for their failures never ceases to entertain.

The sport of tennis is no exception, as many a racquet has met an untimely demise on the court at the trembling hands of an angry player.

As such, Novac Djokovic would have to be considered an artist in this regard.

The reigning Wimbledon champ victimized yet another racquet recently at something called the Rogers Cup in Toronto.

 

Prepare to be dazzled by this violent ballet.

Djokovic snapped that thing in half swiftly and completely, then layed it down gently in a neat pile under his chair.

The 10th-ranked tennis player in the whole wide world seems to be evolving as a human, as in the past, he hasn't been nearly as restrained.

 

See, that can only be described as unchecked rage.

Of course, Djokovic did get upset by a Greek teen named Stefanos Tsitsipas, so his anger wasn't without merit.

Anyway, racquets are only temporary, but glory lasts forever.
