PSG's Become a Wheelin' Dealin' Club

How time flies.

Seems like it was just yesterday when UEFA ordered the ownership of Paris St-Germain to explain how they were gonna reconcile their stunning Neymar acquistion with European football's Financial Fair Play decree.

Apparently, their silence wasn't as golden as their payroll.

UEFA is launching an investigation.

This comes in the wake of PSG announcing another mega-deal, shipping €180million to Monaco for 18-year-old sensation Kylian Mbappé.

On loan.

Yeah, right.

Capped twice already for France, Mbappé is clearly one exciting dude.

It's no wonder the Oryx Qatar Sports Investments group went rogue to make this happen:

Of course, we all know how the über-rich react to news of investigations:

Not so for the vast majority of footballing cogniscenti, like Liverpool's Jürgen Klopp.

Incidentally, his hat was in the ring to bid for Mbappé, so his reaction isn't exactly a stunner:

That's proposition, dude.

Too bad this translator doesn't do Russian. It coulda set up a perfect alibi.

Who knows if UEFA will do more than make rumblings before resuming to gazing at its navel?

As to AS Monaco, dudes just keep winning to stay tied with PSG at the top of Ligue 1:

Seems like Mbappé was having a good time on the bench.

Given their location, it's not like Les Monégasques aren't surrounded by wealth, so they're clearly not impressed by big numbers.

They'll just dontinue to do what they always do, which is be a perennial contender with whomever's in form at the moment. And stay under budget.
