Manchester United's the Big Dog Again

It's starting to look like the days of yore -- as in Sir Alex Ferguson's reign -- at Old Trafford.

Manchester United reminded Leicester City -- the miracle titlists two seasons ago -- who had the Premiersip pedigree and who was put back in their pace with a thoroughly dominant 2-0 result to open the 2017-2018 campaign with a perfect 3-0-0 start.

Of course, one only needs to look at who's tied for second right now to realize it's a bit early to hand out the crown:

premiership top five

This is the Terriers' first appearance ever in the top tier, and they're likely not long for this end of the English footballing spectrum, even if they are Meat Loaf's favorite side.

The Red Devils currently have one of the best squads in the league. Mega-dosh will do that. The unknown element is whether and/or how José Mourniho can screw it up.

Despite being overwhelmingly outplayed -- possession was 69%-31%, Devils -- the Foxes managed to keep things scoreless for the first 69 minutes.

And then, young sensation, Marcus Rashford converted a corner kick after coming off the bench:

The new prodigy?

Then Mr Popular -- Marouane Fellaini -- wandered in as another substitute and made his mark:

Dude knows how to score unorthodox goals.

That's the sorta depth money can buy.

And Meat Loaf still loves Huddersfield, nn matter where they may finish.
