Manchester City's Back to Their Winning Ways
After a hard-fought loss to Liverpool, the runaway Premiership leaders have started what's likely gonna be another long winning streak.
Manchester City hosted struggling Newcastle United and left no doubt about their dominance in a 3-1 victory.
It was never really a match-up to begin with.
The only question was how many goals City would rack up.
The opener came from the most likely source, Sergio Agüero, when he flicked a header past the Magpie defense in the 34th minute:
To double City’s cushion -- not to mention his own -- the Argentine international stepped up the take the spot kick and made no mistake:
Dude's surely better than Lionel Messi in this department.

Newcastle found its chance to put the pedal to the metal and caught the Citizens sleeping in the 67th minute, which led to Jacob Murphy scoring on an exquisite lob to salvage the proverbial lovely parting gift:
But this was Agüero's day, and on his 20oth City appearance, too.
He couldn't have wished for anything better as he scored a hat trick, complements of Leroy Sané who served as the main architect:
After their League Cup second-leg match at Bristol City, the Citizens will proceed to get on another roll in Premiership play.
That can happen when the next two opponents are West Brom Albion and Leicester City.
