Arsenal Gunners Sink the Saints' Ship

Arsène Wenger can only relax so much these days.

The temperature may be turned down a bit, what with his crew having won five home matches on the trot.

But frankly, it remains the atmosphere du jour around the Emirates.

Still, when the Gunners are firing on all cylinders, they're definitely the well-oiled offensive machine their tradition demands that they be.

Arsenal had to fight harder than expected to bag all three points from Southampton, emerging with a 3-2 barnburner.

 

Baseball has a term to describe two fielders who think the other dude's gonna make the play, only to have the ball fall between them for a hit.
