The Blues Wanna Know How Four Officials Could Miss a Crucial OT Hand Pass

Today's game is faster, they said.

It needs a second referee, they said.

That extra set of eyes will mean incidents eligible for replay can be limited, they said.

Yeah, right. So what in the name of the Dallas Stars' Stanley Cup does the NHL make of this:

 

It's an amazing world in which we live. By definition, the officials have four different angles of what should be an area of intense scrutiny, and none of them claims to have had a clear view.
