Pierre McGuire Nearly Eats a Puck During Broadcast

Let's just put this scorching hot take right out there.

Pierre McGuire isn't the most popular dude in the wonderful world of NHL hockey 

Despite this immutable fact, he still doesn't deserve a puck to the grill.

However, that's almost exactly what happened during an urgent skate between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Apparently, baseball isn't the only game of inches, as another fraction or so and they'd still be collecting pieces of Pierre in a futile attempt to put him back together.

While the failed coach turned analyst can be extremely grating at times, dude does appear to have excellent bladder control, so good on him.

Actually, that isn't the real Pierre McGuire, but merely a parody account, providing further evidence of the pathological need to mock the dude.

Anyway, this is still much better than the last time Pierre found himself in the news.
