UCF's Shaquem Griffin Owns the NFL Combine
And to think this dude needed a Senior Bowl week to get an invite.
For two seasons, Shaquem Griffin tore it up as a linebacker for the UCF Golden Knights.
Anyone who saw anything about his performances there would agree that he was a key reason for the team's success.
In fact the American Athletic Conference did just that.
They named Griffin their Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and could've done it again this past season.
Now, if there was such a thing as NFL Combine MVP, dude would be in the running for that, too.
He tore it up.
Suffice to say Griffin hasn't disappointed in anything they've asked him to do.
He also gives a great interview. That's a useful skill to have in today's sporting world.
Now that -- yet again -- Griffin's shown what he can do, a team's gotta follow through and get him to training camp.
He's projected to go in the late rounds. Still, it'd be consistent for Griffin to go undrafted and sign with a club.
Seattle, maybe? Pete Carroll was visibly impressed:

Wherever it is, Griffin's task will be the same: prove himself.
At this point, it's hard to believe he'd have any doubters.
