UCF's One-Handed LB Shaquem Griffin Will Be on Hand at NFL Combine

This is what can happen when commitment meets determination.

Shaquem Griffin was passed over when initial invitations to the NFL combine were sent out.

Whether or not that fazed him at all is irrelevant. He simply set out to prove he belonged, which is something Griffin's probably been doing all his life.

Dude's already proven to be a full-service linebacker.

 

One invitation Griffin did receive was to the Senior Bowl, where NFL coaches were in charge of the teams.

Griffin attacked practice drills, and the pro staffs from Houston and Cincinnati did more than take note.

 

The former Golden Knight joined other Senior Bowl standouts in raising his draft stock, and it ultimately earned him the prize he was seeking.

Griffin got his invitation to the combine.

 

Obviously, this is not to say he'll get drafted, but odds are whether he does or not, Griffin will show up at an NFL training camp somewhere.

Because to him, no simply serves as a motivational starting point.
