The Delicate Sensibilities of Antonio Brown
Antonio Brown seems to be morphing into a human defense mechanism.
Everything is upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers' talented yet high-maintenence WR these days.
Of course, his apparent tantrum and subsequent departure from the team in the week leading up to the Steelers' season finale has been well-lamented.
It'd appear that Brown and QB Ben Roethlisberger are having some relationship issues that may be beyond repair at this point.
Brand new Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians -- who must be some sorta masochist to accept that gig -- recently weighed in on the subject of Brown, who he once coached in Pittsburgh.
The never-dull Arians described arguably the best WR in the NFL as a diva, which despite Brown's considerable talent is pretty much center mast.
Of course, the former 6th-round pick with the massive chip on his shoulder quickly responded via the Twitter:
He didn’t draft me he drafted @ESanders_10 same guy who missed rehab to go on networks to talk about me on situation he have zero clue! Arians now wears kangoo hats n glasses 😂 but ima diva! Done seen it all then they say we friends stop lien https://t.co/jALXyhQMAw

Okay, that shot about the Kangol hats was completely out of line.
Bruce wasn't done, though, waxing philosophic about money and fame by suggesting that some assholes can be found in the WR room.
He was specifically asked about this subject, but it was still another targeted strike.
The man tasked with miraculously leading the Bucs to respectability did also toss a few bouquets in the direction of Brown, describing him as one of the hardest working dudes he's ever coached.
However, he just needs to get humble again.
Hmmm.
Well then.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is reportedly still driving himself to training camp.
