Justin Tucker Chooses a Truly Horrific Moment for His First Missed Extra Point
The NFL has been really interesting so far this season.
There's been some genuinely weird shit going down, and this past Sunday in Baltimore provided a good example.
The Ravens and Saints put on quite the show, but what happened in the final 30 seconds will haunt the dreams of those in attendance.
Yep, just like that.
After Drew Brees and the Saints dropped a 17-spot in the fourth quarter to take a 24-17 lead, Joe Flacco somehow got his Ravens into the end zone with 24 seconds left.
Then, it happened.
“And a kicker who has never missed an extra point”

Justin Tucker misses extra point. WTF is going on with FG kickers this year? pic.twitter.com/jBI1cDvuSX
Even the brilliant Justin Tucker isn't immune to the virus that has apparently entered the NFL placekicker bloodstream.
The Saints were able to recover the ensuing onside kick and close out the win, much to Tucker's chagrin.

Fortunately for the perennial Pro Bowl kicker, he did eventually stop making that face and bravely addressed the media.

Dude has some grit to spare.
Since this madness involved the Saints, it would be irresponsible not to mention the John Carney game from 2003.
And to think, that was the old 19-yard chip shot extra point.
Kicking can be a nasty business sometimes.
