It really didn't seem possible for the legend of Gardner MInshew to become even more interesting, but it has in fact happened.
The real life Uncle Rico has met his fictional counterpart, which is the equivalent of opening up a big bag of smiles.

We are forever changed.
With Uncle Rico in Jacksonville for an NFL Network commercial shoot, Minshew was able to hook up with his movie Doppelgänger.
While the pair weren't able to spend the entire day together, the brilliant character actor Jon Gries made the rounds:
