DK Metcalf Is Already Intimately Acquainted with His New Team

The Seattle Seahawks selected WR DK Metcalf with the 64th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, which will certainly fill a suddenly glaring need due to the possible retirement of the injury ravaged Doug Baldwin.

This pick wasn't terribly surprising, as the Ole Miss product had spent quite a bit of time with the Seahawks before the draft.

It turns out that the courtship blew right past the hand-holding and cheek-kissing almost immediately.

Indeed, formalities were dispensed and inhibitions ignored during one particular meeting.

 

Before we continue, some context regarding Metcalf's physique may be in order.

You see, it turns out dude's absolutely swollen -- or yoked -- as the kids like to say.

 

Just in case any NFC West cover corners were wondering, that's DK on the left.

 

Anyway, some Seahawks personnel convinced Metcalf to show up topless for an interview with head coach Pete Carroll at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, and things just got freaky-deaky from there.

Awesome isn't the word that immediately leaps to mind.

Clearly, workplace mores have evolved over the years, but this seems excessive.

 

Of course, it did appear that everyone was wearing pants, at the start of the meeting anyway.

The point is, we really didn't need to see Pete Carroll's blindingly white, exposed torso today, or any day.

 

All of this debauchery aside, things turned out rather well for Metcalf in the end.

 

You can't fake that kind of emotion.

And rookie mini-camp is right around the corner.

 

Those Seahawks sure know how to party.
