Civilian Mike McCarthy Has Become One of Those Irrational Sports Parents

You may be wondering how former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is filling the hours these days.

Don't bother checking the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, because you won't find him there.

However, you could canvas high school gymnasiums in Wisconsin, as he was spotted at one of those recently.

Well, that's just a little embarrassing.

 

The unemployed McCarthy seems to have poured himself into his stepson's high school hooping, which may not be the healthiest outlet.

According to the school administrator in the above video, Pulaski High won't be tolerating these sorts of shenanigans, like stalking officials after the game, for example.

The devoted stepfather clearly wasn't pleased with Notre Dame Academy's season-ending 67-66 loss, but let's try to harness those emotions.

 

That's not quite what we had in mind.

McCarthy has since apologized for his scene making, so that's good.

But dude really needs to find a gig soon before his sports parent behavior reaches the next level.
