Chucky and the Raiders Dance the Night Away in London
Perhaps it's time we took a good, hard look at these Oakland Raiders.
In the second year of his second stint with the organization, there's mounting evidence that Jon Gruden may actually have a clue.
Of course, last season's tire fire suggested otherwise, but the 2019 Raiders look like something resembling a football team.
Chucky and the boys improved to 3-2 on the young season with a 24-21 win over the Chicago Bears in London.
Yes, that London.
There was some delicious irony attached to this matchup, as the Bears are the team that stole Khalil Mack from the Raiders last year in a trade that is still widely mocked to this day.
It was especially humorous after Gruden started complaining about his ineffectual pass rush almost immediately after the season began.
Well, Chucky is still batshit crazy, but there may just be a method to the madness.
In fact, a dude they took with one of the Mack compensatory draft picks scored the game winner against Chicago.
That was the lovely and talented Josh Jacobs leaping over a Raiders offensive line that dominated a stout Bears front all damn day.
Not surprisingly, Gruden was pretty fired up about this outcome:

This impromptu and extremely awkward Club Chucky appeared to be a direct riff on the Bears' Club Dub lockerroom antics:

Not this week, fellas.
Unfortunately, it seems there was some collateral damage to the Chucky Shuffle:
Every time Jon Gruden Dances his brother loses his job

Sadly, Jay Gruden made his own bed.
