Chad Kelly is Your 2017 Mr Irrelevant
With the 253rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly.
Yes, the dude is this year's Mr Irrelevant.
However, the talent and potential Kelly has displayed on the field is actually quite relevant.
The former Rebels signal caller obviously comes with mucho baggage, which is why he was forced to wait three full days to be drafted.
Tragically, ESPN had a camera in his living room.

That may very well be the most depressing visual of this, or any, draft.
Kelly doesn't seem to be a bad dude, but there have certainly been some issues off the field.
For instance, there was the disorderly conduct charge at a Buffalo bar, one in which Kelly allegedly threatened to come back with an AK-47 and spray the place.
Yikes!
There was also the brawl at his brother's high school football game last year.
Despite these mitigating factors, which culminated in a un-invitation to the NFL Draft combine, John Elway and the Broncos front office were comfortable enough to take a chance. It also tells you all you need to know about Denver's slinger situation.
The young QB is the nephew of Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly, and it appears that the four-time Super Bowl loser gave Elway a reassuring endorsement.
There's also the matter of that pesky torn ACL from back in November, but hopefully for his sake, Kelly will be fully mended soon.
When healthy and not engaging in tomfoolery, dude can ball.
This could turn into a brilliant move by the Broncos.
Or not.
In the meantime, Kelly will no doubt enjoy the Mr Irrelevant Week festivities in Newport Beach.
There's even a parade.
