Brandon Jacobs Is Not a Fan of Jim Harbaugh's Work

Jim Harbaugh is widely considered to be a successful and knowledgeable football coach.

While his methods and personality are rather unique, the results on the field speak for themselves.

Despite this track record, there's at least one voice in the wilderness questioning his football acumen.

But who would possibly dare cross our merciless hero?

Well, we're going to tell you, anyway:

It's former NFL RB Brandon Jacobs, who spent one apparently unpleasant season in San Francisco under Harbaugh back in 2012.

It appears Jacobs actually lost respect for Harbaugh as he got to know him, which isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of a fellow human being.

The longtime Giant specifically addressed passing routes, as according to him, Harbaugh didn't understand how to adjust these routes on certain coverages.

We should thank Tiki Barber for distilling this technical mumbo jumbo for us lay people.

While the current Michigan head coach certainly mastered sideline histrionics at the NFL level, perhaps the actual nuts and bolts of the game eluded him.

But no matter.

Coach is good at other things.

Yes, that's Harbaugh helping deliver a baby calf just this week.

He's also capable of golfing for charity.

Just don't ask him to design a route tree.
