Arrested Development: Dallas Police Cuff Aqib Talib, Aqib Talib's Brother, and Own Credibility
Aqib Talib was arrested by Dallas Police Saturday night for public intoxication and causing a disturbance.
DPD's major in charge of public relations and imminent lawsuits, Max Geron, intially tweeted the following gems Sunday morning:
@dallaspd arrest Denver Bronco Aqib Talib for public intox after he was throwing bottles causing a disturbance. Talib was danger to self

...and others. Talib was intoxicated in a club causing a disturbance.

#BREAKING Talib was arrested at about 1:45 this morning after being escorted out of Club Syn in 1200 block of Main St. #NFL

Then, a courtesy call to Talib's agent found Aqib living the high life of unfettered, un-arrested freedom. Instead, it was someone who looked a teensy bit like him -- namely, his 31-year-old brother, Yaqub:
Agent says Broncos CB Aqib Talib was not arrested in Dallas; it was Talib's brother who was busted http://t.co/ge63Xjhy37

Geron and the DPD backtracked quicker than a corner facing a Wes Welker rub route, but heads are sure to roll on Dallas' thin blue line.
The least surprising news out of all of this is that the Oakland Raiders have stepped in with a five year offer for Yaqub Talib to play quarterback.
