Akiem Hicks Shares His Jersey and Pads with a Lucky Fan at Soldier Field
Fans attending an NFL football game typically don't expect to leave with a game-used souvenir.
However, Akiem Hicks is having none of that.
The Chicago Bears defensive end is all about a fan-friendly experience, and he will go out of his way to provide it.
For example, this past Sunday at Soldier Field against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hicks went above and beyond to accommodate the masses.
The big guy got into a scrape with an unidentified Bucs player and then proceeded to shove the official who tried to separate them.
Here is the absolute best footage of the confrontation that we have at our disposal:
After being predictably ejected from the game, this apparently happened:
Akiem Hicks threw his jersey into the stands with his shoulder pads still inside. #Bears staff had to retrieve the pads, but the fan got to keep the jersey.

Well played, sir.
Obviously, Hicks was far more generous than Mean Joe, as he left his pads in the jersey.
While it's unclear if the former Saint had a Coke after the game, he may enjoy a smile as it appears he will avoid a suspension.
However, he'll have to pony up some cheddar, as the NFL enjoys doling out fines to players almost as much as censoring them.
Testify.
