It was probably a foregone conclusion anyway, but any possible drama involving the potential winner of the 2019 Heisman Trophy has gone the way of the dodo bird.
This valuable service was helpfully provided by LSU QB Joe Burrow, who's nothing if not thorough.
It happened during the SEC Championship Game, which was also sucked dry of any intrigue due to the dominance of the Bayou Bengals against Georgia.
Of course, Burrow was sensational as always, but one play in particular emphatically drove the point home.

Joe Burrow wound up on LSU's doorstep without any ability to throw the ball. Then he ate some crawfish. And as with Popeye's spinach, Burrow's right arm swelled with badassery and he was able to throw like some sleeper agent QB who had just been awakened by a code word.
