Here's the score when these two schools clashed earlier in the year:
LSU 77
Texas A&M 65
That was in SEC hoops last January, when they combined to post 142 points. In regulation.
Their football brethren needed a while longer to top that output, but they ultimately did it in a 146-point marathon.
All things considered, the Aggies and Bayou Bengals did a damn entertaining job of racking up 31 points each after 60 minutes of poppin' pads.
Dudes hit the over/under total of 45½ when Michael Divinity Jr rambled 58 yards on a scoop-&-score with 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to tie the game, 24-24.
Little did they know they were only getting started:
Aggies, 74-72.
The humanity.
Lotsa weird stuff goes into a 7-overtime game, but absolutely nothing outdid college football's first premature Gatoration:
The fact that Ed Orgeron already got a Gatorade bath in this game is hilarious. pic.twitter.com/czLwdHqCSq

Time for the Tigers to brush up on the wit and wisdom of Yogi Berra.
Then there's A&M wideout Kendrick Rodgers. Dude musta been in the witness protection program during regulation, being targeted a mere three times and only hauling in one. Come overtime, he hauled in a pair of TDs and three conversions.
Incidentally, for those Tiger faithful mumbling about a bitta home cooking when the game seemed over but wasn't, remember the Tennessee game back in 2010:
Dunno which football gods LSU pissed off for A&M's breaks in this one to be considered making things all square in the universe, but there it is.
Karma can be a bitch sometimes.
