NCAAF Week 7 Totals Tout Analysis: Here's Your Lucky 7

College football data is really starting to accumulate around this point in the season.

Lines are tightening as a result.

Still, there's good value to be had here and there, and we think we've found seven over/under plays that could make for a happy Week 7.

So buckle up. We're gonna get right to it.

 

Just remember to check the current totals on offer before you make your play.

Prudence precedes profits, you know.

 

Just don't take more than you can spare.

South Carolina at Georgia: 55½

The Bulldogs could be forced to do all the scoring, here. The Gamecocks don’t have much offense, while the Dawgs’ defense has truly stepped it up in recent games.

Can the Dawgs do all the heavy lifting to beat that number? Probably. Will they do it? Not likely. Go under.

Result: South Carolina 20 Georgia 17 in 2ot ... under covers

 

Cincinnati at Houston: 54

The Bearcats make their mascot proud by playing tough defense. But beware! Dudes head into this battle off a scintillating home victory against big-time rival UCF. Bearcat defenders could end up playing down to their competition in this matchup.

The Cougars average 33.8 points while allowing 32.3. The analytics point to this game going over.

Result: Cincinnati 38 Houston 23 ... over covers

 

Iowa State at West Virginia: 51½

This seems like a meager college football point total for a Big XII game. The Mountaineers' last three contests have gone over. The Cyclones have played in two over games in their last three. Over it is!

Result: Iowa State 38 West Virginia 14 ... under covers

 

San José State at Nevada: 59½

Neither one of these squads plays a whole lotta defense. The Wolf Pack has trouble scoring, though. Dudes average less than 20 points per game.

Also, the under is 4-1 in the Spartans’ last five contests. Looks like an under, then.

Result: Nevada 41 San José State 38 ... over covers

 

Nebraska at Minnesota: 56½

The Golden Gophers are undefeated because they can score with teams that wish to put points on the board. Or, they can play defense with teams that wish to slow things down.

The Huskers will try to play fast. This time, although Minnesota can play fast, they won’t. Instead, PJ Fleck's crew will look to beat the Scott Frost's charges straight up in an under game. The spread's only 3 points.

Minnesota to cover the ATS and the under looks like a nice parlay.

Result: Minnesota 34 Nebraska 7 ... under covers

 

Hawaii at Boise State: 62½

Wait a minute. Is that for the whole game or just the first half?

We could be chanting we want a hundred in this game and mean it. Hawaii has one of the top passing offenses in college football. The Warriors average 356.8 passing yards per. That ranks fourth in NCAAF.

Boise State only allows 16 points per on average, though. The Broncos will find a way to temper Hawaii’s passing attack, but points will be scored. Especially by the home team. Go bigly on the over.

Result: Boise State 59 Hawaii 37 ... over covers

 

Louisville at Wake Forest: 64½

This may look like a massive total, but think again. It’s massive for the Cardinals alone. They're gonna score some serious points, and so will those Demon Deacons. It’s gonna be impossible not to go over.

This is gonna be the shootout that no one expects. Don't be like everyone. Play the over. Thank me later.

Result: Louisville 62 Wake Forest 59 ... over covers
