Mike Leach Does His Stream of Consciousness Thing during Presser

If you're looking for something to do and have a couple of hours to kill, you might want to consider asking Mike Leach to share his thoughts on collegiate mascots.

The former Texas Tech head coach and current Washington State frontman doesn't need to be coaxed into offering an opinion on anything, as evidenced yet again by his most recent weekly presser.

His No 8 Cougars are preparing to take on the Buffaloes from Colorado, a fact that appears to have triggered a lengthy discussion about his personal pantheon of mascots.

And now, a glimpse into the amusement park that is the mind of Mike Leach:

Clearly, Coach Leach has much respect for both Ralphie the Buffalo and Mike the Tiger.

The uncensored thoughts of Uncle Mike are certainly not for everyone, but if you can handle it, here's some more:

 

It remains unclear exactly what these gorillas have to do with game preparation, but we'll give Coach the benefit of the doubt because he's so damn entertaining.

Of course, Leach is quite fond of these tangents, which seem to occur on a regular basis.

Why, just last week, he waxed philosophic on the pros and cons of Halloween:

 

Dude's practically a religion.

 

Perhaps Leach should put pen to paper and collect these musings for posterity.
