Apparently, Cal's Evan Weaver Is Some Sorta Tackling Savant

It's not unusual to see inside linebackers post large tackling numbers.

However, this whole Evan Weaver thing is something else completely.

The CalBears' senior inside linebacker is piling up tackles at an alarming rate, including this past Saturday in Oxford against Ole Miss.

Since the Rebels typically like to keep things on the ground, Weaver had an opportunity to stuff his stat sheet.

 

And stuff it he did, to the tune of 22 tackles.

Here's Weaver breaking down every one of them is excruciating detail:

 

Actually, he didn't do that at all, but it was still quite illuminating.

 

Dude entered this game leading the entire nation in total tackles with 41 of them, so it's probably safe to say he's still on top of the category.

But it's not just about the fundamentally sound tackling with Weaver.
