The Bobby Knight Dead Pool

Well, golly gee, that Bobby Knight sure knows how to hold a grudge.

Recently, the legendary former Indiana hoops coach and apparently bitter retiree was on the Dan Patrick radio show.

When the inevitable questions about mending fences with school administration and possibly returning to campus came up, Knight was his typical brutally honest self.

Brace for impact:

Yes, ladies and gentleman of the jury, he wishes they were all dead.

That is some cringe-worthy radio right there.

It appears time hasn't healed this riff in any meaningful way. It's been 16 long years since Knight was at the controls of the Indiana Hoosiers basketball program.

Of course, there wasn't some vast conspiracy amongst boosters and administrators that ultimately forced Knight out.

This dude was a wildly successful basketball coach, having won three national championships and 11 Big Ten regular season titles at the school.

Unfortunately, the delusional Trump supporter was also something of a tyrant, and the many reports of both physical and emotional abuse of his players eventually led to his dismissal.

Clearly, Robert Montgomery Knight still harbors ill will towards his former employers, despite the fact that many are in fact actually dead.

Mike Krzyzewski's mentor is certainly entitled to his own feelings, but it's hard to dispute the fact that some of his methods were unsound.

Hopefully, Coach Knight will let us know when he updates that dead pool again.
