Sean Miller Remembers He's American; Wants Due Process First

This fake news stuff is really getting annoying.

Back in the good ol' days -- whenever your own particular bias was in vogue -- you trusted your trusted news source to do the done thing and confirm details from at least two independent sources before going public with a story.

Hard to believe in this day and age, but reporters actually got fired if they cut that corner.

When last we cast a glance at the mess down in Tucson, Arizona Wildcats hoops coach Sean Miller was engulfed in hints and allegations.

It was widely reported that the Feds had him on tape attempting to procure the services of DeAndre Ayton, who's gonna get paid above the table soon enough.

Was it?

What with today's social media moving at lightning speed to break news and copying other reports if they looked credible, it's more than possible for some stuff to have only one source that looks like two because of all the proliferation.

Could be.

And it's got Miller becoming unglued as a result.

Seems like he may have a point.

At which point, dude made his way back to the gym because the school admins recalled that in the USA, citizens are innocent until proven guilty.

Arizona lost the one game where Miller voluntarily sat out in the allegation's aftermath. That was at Oregon, where the 'Cats easily could've lost with him on the bench.

Arizona's assured itself of at least a tie for the Pac-12 title, so the impact of this game was negligible.

They've got a decent shot at making a serious run in the Big Dance.

And legally, that's all Miller wants. It's only right that he gets it.
