Finally, the Legendary Nick Collison Gets His Jersey Retired in OKC
At long last, a terrible wrong has been righted.
NBA legend Nick Collison, who seemed to be an active rotation player for the better part of four decades, has finally been acknowledged for his endless contributions to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Actually, dude played 15 seasons, so it must've just felt like much longer.
The NBA franchise formally known as the Seattle SuperSonics has never retired a number, but if anyone deserves such an honor, it'd be the man who never once averaged double figures in a season.
Tragically, we do speak the truth.
Indeed, the immortal No 4 will be hanging in perpetuity for generations of fans to enjoy.

And also SNL's Colin Jost, for whatever reason.
Dude definitely put in his time, spending four seasons in Seattle and then making the move to OKC for thr rest of his illustrious career.
Sticking around in the Association for that long is certainly commendable, so we'd like to buy Nick a drink and shake his hand.
For the moment though, let's take a stroll down memory lane:
And you thought Tim Duncan was fundamentally sound.
