Dwight Howard's 30-30 Is a Reminder That He Might Be Superman

This is stuff you just don't see much anymore.

No, not Dwight Howard going off for 32 points and 30 rebounds in one game.

We're talking about Howard actually putting in the effort to post numbers like those.

Accomplishing a feat like this is spectacular. However, getting in position to go for it on a regular basis isn't too much for the paying public to ask.

All that aside -- because that's just the way it is -- Howard was clearly nowhere near any kryptonite against the Brooklyn Nets.

Dude unleased the full force of his potential in Charlotte's 111-105 victory over Brooklyn tonight, where the Nets blew a 23-point lead, but that part's not news.

For the record, Kevin Love's the last player to do it, back in 2010 for Minnesota when he could play his sorta game.

What was Howard's secret in this game?

Got a text at halftime from somebody and it kind of got me motivated
and gave me some extra energy.

Now, who could that have possibly been from?

Racking up a 30-30 has only been done 32 times by players not named Wilt Chamberlain.

That dude brought it: 124 times in his career.

Now, that's motivation, pounding it inside game after game.

It's there to be done, Mr Superman.
