Danilo Gallinari Injures Hand in Fight During Exhibition Game
Danilo Gallinari represented his homeland of Italy with pride and passion in a recent exhibition game.
In fact, his cup overfloweth with passion, as the brand new LA Clipper may have gotten a bit carried away.
Unfortunately, his national pride manifested itself in a punch to the head of his Netherlands opponent.
This has reportedly produced a broken right shooting hand.
Well, the Clippers front office may not find this quite so amusing.
Here's the scuffle in question:
Not a lot to it, really.
The box out was a little on the aggressive side, but it probably didn't merit a throwing of the hands.
The punch actually did sorta land, and you can see in the footage where that right thumb may have gotten a bit mangled.
Of course, the irony of this being an international friendly is surely not lost on anyone.
At least, nobody died.
Poor Apollo.
