Communication Breakdown: Dan Gilbert Pens a New Missive to Cleveland Fans
When LeBron James took his talents to South Biatch, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert took to comic sans to express his outrage.
Now that the King is seriously considering a return to America's Team, Gilbert has once more picked up the pen, intent on making up for his previous lack of judgement.
Exclusive to The Daily Player, here is the new letter that carries all of Cleveland's hopes:
Dear Cleveland, Northeast Ohio, Yada Yada Yada ...
As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted one hundred years ago, is considering becoming a Cleveland Cavalier again.
Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing.
The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers has not gotten over the past betrayal and NEVER will.
There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our exciting Anthony Bennett future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be telling the self-titled 'King' to go shove it.
You simply don’t deserve any more cowardly betrayal.
You have given so much and deserve so much more Anthony Bennett.
In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:
“I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE”
You can take it to the bank.
Wait, what?
