Wil Myers Is Truly Sorry for Insulting His Manager While Playing Fortnite
In our current digital age, there really isn't much opportunity for a private conversation.
Even something as innocuous as a gaming session can be rife with peril.
Will Myers recently discovered this in embarrassing fashion.
The Padres third baseman was enjoying a lively game of Fortnite when he started discussing his manager Andy Green is an unflattering manner.
Well, it was being live streamed at the time.
Yeah, a Padres minor leaguer by the name of Carlos Asuaje was definitely live streaming the game, including the unfortunate remarks.
Have a listen:
Here is the full #FortniteGate video. While Wil shouldn’t have said this, this is just more proof that Green is not at all liked and has lost this team. #LetsGoPadres #FireAndyGreen pic.twitter.com/DH6QZNvExs

That's good stuff.
While the comments weren't exactly malicious, they certainly don't reflect well on the drill-happy Green.
Of course, Myers formally apologized and said all the right things, but it's pretty clear how he feels about the Padres' current situation.
To his credit, the embattled Green took it pretty well, suggesting all was forgiven, although it's very likely that his spirit is just completely broken at the end of this miserable Padres season.
Live streaming can be dangerous, especially considering the type of conversation that usually takes place during some gaming sessions.
You know, there are certain occasions that may call for jean shorts.
