Kyle Lohse Retires in Wonderfully Casual Beer Drinking Fashion

Retirement from professional sports is often a rigid, somber affair involving the tearful reading of a prepared statement.
While the emotion is certainly warranted when walking away from the game, it's not the most entertaining watch.
Stiff formality, meet Kyle Lohse.
The 16-year MLB ball tosser recently announced his retirement in the most casual, unassuming manner possible.
Well, the cagey veteran, fresh off a release from the Kansas City Royals, decided to hang them up the very same day.
The 39-year-old is clearly hip to the social media, as he used Instagram to do the deed.
Lohse scored many cool points by doing this while watching a Royals minor league ballgame and enjoying a beer.
Right the hell on, dude.
Lohse certainly had himself a lengthy career, winning 147 games and some World Series jewelry with the St Louis Cardinals back in 2011.
He also does a fairly decent Tony LaRussa impression, but we won't hold that against him.
Anyway, thanks to the dude for providing a model for all future retirements, regardless of sport.
Because beer and baseball.
And yes, America.
