Buxton Breaks Sound Barrier on Inside-the-Parker

So far, the major league level has been a struggle for 2012's second overall draft pick.

Byron Buxton has done enough shifting between the Minnesota Twins and their AAA affiiate in Rochester to be tagged with the dreaded AAAA label.

But on the last day of this season, dude gave the Twins a reason to maintain hope:

It didn't hurt that his fly ball was totally misplayed, but that's not the point here.

Buxton made the circuit in an eye-popping 14 seconds:

Impressive.

That sort of quickness always is.

And the Waco Kid coulda given Buxton advice about how tough it is to stay there:

A sobering tale, but The Kid did find redemption.

And that's the takeaway.

Buxton's got a special gift. Stay the course, dude.
