DeAndre Hopkins Makes Insane Catch That Doesn't Count
The NFL's Thursday Night prime time installment is usually a pretty dull affair.
However, the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins played a reasonably exciting game the other night.
A special shoutout should be reserved for DeAndre Hopkins, who earned a handshake and a drink for one play in particular.
Sadly, the following work of art didn't actually count, but we're going to enjoy it anyway:
This play didn't count ... BUT HOW DID DEANDRE HOPKINS CATCH THAT??

How indeed.
The degree of difficulty required to make that grab would probably cause whatever machine is used to calculate such things to begin questioning everything.
Unfortunately for those of us who value great athleticism and common sense, Hopkins was flagged for offensive pass interference and the catch was waved off.
Despite this gross miscarraige of justice, Hopkins himself has decided to simply ignore this completely shitty call and count it as a catch.
DeAndre Hopkins on his catch that didn't count says he watched it several times: "I think somebody owes me an apology." #Texans

Right the hell on, dude.
It's fun to pretend, so we should probably do the same.
Then it's settled.
That was a catch.
