JJ Redick Issues a Stern Warning to Zion Williamson
There's much anticipation surrounding Zion Williamson and his maiden NBA voyage with the New Orleans Pelicans.
While this team is super-young and the Western Conference is loaded as usual, there are hopes that the Pelicans can actually qualify for the post-season.
In fact, JJ Redick is insisting on it.
The grizzled guard signed with NOLA in the offseason, and is wasting little time in throwing around his veteran weight.
He even had a sit-down with his fellow Duke alum.
That can generously be described as tough love.
Zion correctly points out that he's a rookie, but the man-child is facing an obscene amount of pressure and expectations.
Meanwhile, Redick's been a member of the Association for what feels like decades.
And somehow, he's been in the playoffs every single season with four different teams.
My God, that was a long time ago.
Hopefully, JJ will be able to work around his other shooting schedule:
