Zlatan Ibrahimović Isn't Past It Yet

The Theatre of Dreams got to see a living legend in action last night.

Manchester United shut out Southampton convincingly as Zlatan Ibrahimović guided the way to that 2-0 victory.

The Red Devils' new era looks promising with all its firepower in stock. The Saints just couldn't handle their attacking force, and counters were virtually non-existent.

When it comes the striker’s role, very few come close to Ibrahimović. Dude showed a glimpse of his ability as he netted home one of his patented headers 36 minutes into the proceedings:

It's fair to say Ibrahimović stands only 6-5 in a nation with a decent percentage of tall citizens. But in the football world, that height is the perfect prescription for a defender’s nightmare.

Dude wasn't done with the night's activities, though, as he thumped a second goal from the spot:

Had the keeper gone the right way? Still no chance.

It's a long campaign yet, but for now, the Red Devils are finally back in their accustomed form.
