West Brom Given Survival Hope from Careless Liverpool

Liverpool may have been on fire lately, but West Brom Abion’s fire to surviveas a Premiership side burnt brighter.

Jürgen Klopp & crew certainly know the desperation that exists in each table's nether regions, but it seemed like they still took the desperate Baggies for granted.

After all, the West Midlands side is not only in relegation trouble, it's holding up the entire table.

For real.

West Brom actually looked done and dusted at Anfield when they fell two goals down in the late going, but someone in their camp seemingly invoked the Jurassic Park mantra ...

It took West Brom eleven minutes to turn the game upside down, as Jake Livermore and Salomón Rondón scored two in quick succession:

Damn. West Brom's one of England's oldest and most traditional clubs. That's gotta be why we still see a throng of wide-striped jerseys amongst the crowd.

It could also be why we'll see them back up in the Premiership before long. But right now, matters look grim with only three games to play:

As to Liverpool, this wasn't exactly the game they wanted before their crucial Champions League semi-final clash with AS Roma.

But it'll have to do.
