Tottenham Hotspur One-Up Juventus

Tottenham hosted the Champions League runner up in its final pre-season tune-up, and they made believers out of Juventus in the process.

Spurs looked well ready for this weekend's Premiership season's opener by defeating the regular Italian champions, 2-0.

England's perennial dark horses were the underdogs in this one, too, but they enjoy proving the doubters wrong. At least, they do until May, when the doubters prove them wrong.

It was none other than the Premiership’s top scorer from last season, Harry Kane, who broke the unbreakable Juvo defense with a crafty piece of play:

The HarryKane doesn't miss those sitters.

The first goal grew from an impressive team build-up, and the second was even better.

Christian Erikson has always been a cheeky dude, so he was the right one in the right place for the right occasion:

Barcelona surely wishes they were playing like this now.

Meanwhile, the Spurs' curtain rises up in St James's park on Sun 13 Aug. Freshly-promoted Newcastle had best batten down the hatches.
