Tottenham Clings to Its Top-Five Standing

The Premiership title may be slipping away already, but Spurs still keep flitting along.

Tottenham may have come third in a two-horse race last season, they surely don’t want it to happen again, and every once in a while, they do something about it.

Spurs finally got their act together after going a goal down to disappoint Burnley, 2-1, to keep things interesting at the top of the table.

Premiership standings

Ashley Barnes quickly pounced on to a noob defensive error fto give the Clarets an early lead:

Defense 101, Tottenham?

Kyle Walker made amends for his previous mistake and delivered a delicious cross, and all Dele Alli had to do was hit it home:

Burnley defenders recoiled from Walker as if he was Halloween itself.

Danny Rose has a howitzer for a foot, and he used it to blast home the winner in the 71st minute, ensuring Spurs the trois points most observers had rung up in their column before the match even started:

The 'keeper would have broken his hand had he touched that.

And so it goes. The dream's still alive for Tottenham.
