Sergio Agüero Puts a Four- Spot Past Spurs

After a two-week absence for international play, the Premiersip returned the business at hand, and what a kickoff they received!

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur didn't disappoint.

This fixture has been averaging five goals per game for consecutive six matches, and this weekend's result was true to form.

The Sky Blues pasted Spurs, 4-1, in a match match had Sergio Agüero written all over it. The Argentine struck for four goals in making Tottenham look totally pedestrian.

This takes his goals tally to nine in eight in the league. Aguero converted two penalties among the four. He could've had five but missed one from the spot.

It wasn't for lack of effort, though.

The game had everything in it. Everything except Spurs highlights. There were penalties, saved penalties, this hat-trick plus one, wrong referee decisions, dismissals, quick comebacks, joy and disappointments. It was really a given for City to defeat Spurs given the the latter's recent run of  poor form.

Amongst it all, the Argentine stole the show.

So City cruises onward, while Tottenham have a week to figure out what happened to their defense.
