Manchester United Lurks in the Lurch

Once feared, the Red Devils are slowly getting back to where they left off a few seasons ago.

Manchester United hosted Sunderland for a Boxing Day clash and convincingly won, 3-1, to keep the world entertained.

United were muddling through a rough patch few matches back, but the dark clouds are slowly disappearing.

Good thing, too. Everyone ahead of them keeps winning. They've gotta stay in touch if they want back into the big dudes' clubhouse next season.

United kept knocking on the Black Cats’ door and finally found their way in as Daley Blind unlocked the defense.

The old way for scoring is back for the Red Devils.

Zlatan Ibrahimović owns wherever he plays, and the dreaded Premiership is no exception:

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored one of the best goals that Old Trafford has witnessed, as he made it 3-0.

Fabio Borini predictably scored an even more spectacular goal to get the proverbial lovely parting gift for Sunderland

A dipping rocket is rarely stopped.
