Manchester City Closes In on Champions League Berth
There's still a race for riches in the Premiership.
The ever-so-tight fight for England's final Champions League entry is looking good for Manchester City.
The Citizens hosted West Bromwich Albion in a must-have three-pointer and got the job done, 2-1.
It didn't look like much of a match on paper, but this is the crazy stage of the Premiership season where underdogs often have more bite.
West Brom’s Stephane Sessegnon shocked City before the sides had hardly broken a sweat:
This is how you silence the noisy neighbors.
But, breaking even on the day, Baggies' hero Sessegnon gave away a penalty to a mere 13 minutes later:
Sergio Agüero never misses those, unlike some Argentines.
City then hit West Brom with all their might -- literally -- as Samir Nasri scored the winner.
Looks like a Shaolin football re-enactment.
But with a different result.
