Liverpool's Henderson Confirms He's a Gamer

The next Liverpool captain showed his leadership, as he led the Reds army to a 0-1 victory in Wales to keep their Champions League dreams alive.

The 'Pool took some time to kickstart their season, but they're firing on all cylinders now.

Swansea was a must- win match for the Reds, and they did not disappoint. Swans may have pulled a double on the Red side of Manchester, but the Merseyside Reds are a different breed. They never walk alone.

However, their misfiring forwards did their usual bit of botching glorious chances:

They don’t always go in, Mr Coutinho.

Apparently, Swans were inspired by all the Red futility:

But it was Mr Charisma who broke the deadlock and scored the only goal of the game. It wasn't just the only goal, but also the play that singularly justified each fan's cost of attendance:

Call it the pinball technique. It's worthy of winning any kind of match.

This victory at the Liberty stadium means that the 'Pool's next fixture against Manchester United will be a battle for fourth place and a shot at a Champions League berth. Lotta dosh on the line, not to mention prestige.

So look for an old rivalry to regain an added bit of spice when on Sun 22 Mar.
