Liverpool’s FA Cup Run in the Dead Pool

The Titanic's home port was Southampton, but lately, it seems like Merseyside would've been a better fit.

Liverpool may have racked up its share of late winners, but the tables turned in this FA Cup fourth-round replay.

West Ham United popped the winner 30+ minutes into extra time to advance, 2-1, at Upton Park.

Rumors of the 'Pool's return to greatness are premature, it seems.

Their defense well and truly sucks right now, and on top of that, fans are walking out of the stadium. This isn't due to performance issues alone, but financial reasons, too.

In that respect, it's restless on both sides of town.

enough is enough

Losing just makes the pinch felt even more.

Still, West Ham sits higher than either of those sides in the Premiership table and were the favorite in this replay.

They were true to their name, too, as they hammered home the first goal in its usual style:

Liverpool fans have a new dude to hate: Michail Antonio.

Under Jürgen Klopp, the Reds have often found a way to come back. Initially, they did:

Philippe Coutinho is always full of surprises. Isn’t he?

Then came the 'Pool's own personal iceberg:

Angelo Ogbonna doesn't just head the ball, he launches it.
