Hull City Adds to Liverpool's Woes

A major attraction of football's ladder system is there are races at both ends of the table.

Because of that, Hull City should get serious spotlight time this season.

Dudes are getting their share of the glow already.

The Tigers hosted big-brand Liverpool and surprised everyone with a 2-0 victory.

Seems like Hull has a number on anything associated with red.

Alfred N'diaye stamped more misery on the Reds' rotten 2017, as Jürgen Klopp's defense stumbled yet again:

Whoa!

Nathaniel Clyne -- Shirt No 2 in your program -- is lucky Klopp didn't make him buy a ticket to get into the game.

That gift served as a hint of things to come, but the dagger came from Oumar Niasse.

Dude ended the show by taking Route 1 and capping it with a calm finish to frustrate the Reds even more:

With Sunderland's 4-0 road win at Crystal Palace, the race to avoid relegation has tightened.

All of which makes Hull's conquest of a slumping giant that much more significant.

Premiership relegation race

Meanwhile, Tottenham's already jumped into second place after disposing of Middlesbrough, 1-0. Both Manchester sides play tomorrow.

Liverpool's never had any issues pulling against them. They definitely won't this time, either.
