Chelsea Stings Watford with Late Equalizer, Winner

This sort of stuff used to happen to the Blues last season.

Watford was cruising along at Vicarage Road, making one goal look pretty damn good, and then -- poof! -- almost 80 minutes of stalwart defending went up in smoke.

Not once, but twice. 

Three points shifted to the other side of the ledger that quickly, as Chelsea logged a 1-2 come-from-behind victory.

Until then, it was hearts and flowers for the formerly unfashionable denizen of the lower divisions before Sir Elton John spent a few of his pop-millions on his boyhood idols.

Watford’s Étienne Capou had given the home fans a reason to cheer when ended a scoreless duel in the 55th minute:

Volleys like that usually require gunpowder.

Chelsea didn't have weapons of mass distraction, but they did have what it took to put on a show late.

Watford's defense broke down in the 80th minute, and Mitchy Batshuayi took advantage:

Wrong time to mess things up, isn’t it?

The Beast, Diego Costa, then came to the Blues' rescue again, this time in the 87th minute:

And that’s the bottom line, because Diego da Silva Costa said so.
