Chelsea Can't Break Down Newcastle

The Newcastle jinx for José Mourinho and his crew doesn't look to end soon.

Chelsea simply sucks at getting a result out of St James's park, and this match was no different.

Frankly, the Blues were fortunate to emerge with a 2-2 draw.

Simply put, it was another sorry performance from the champions Chelsea, who stole a point in the late going. Usually, that's something that their opponents dream of doing, but it's the other way around in Geordie land.

The Blues should've known it was going to be one of those days when Newcastle's Ayoze Pérez conjured up a bit of chicken salad:

That's a prefect volley. Just ask the Chelsea defenders.

Their miserable performance was almost as bad as the Magpies' kit this season, which allowed Georginio Wijnaldum to split the difference:

Not even parking Chelsea’s infamous bus in the box could stop that one from tickling twine.

Speaking of, here's how it's supposed to work everywhere else:

Every once in a while, Chelsea offered reminders that are indeed the defending champions, and Ramires provided one of them:

That type of goal is capable of winning any match, even in the World Cup.

And then came the equalizer from Willian:

It was like throwing dust in the 'keeper’s eyes.
